Club Captain Matt (son of our Director of Football, Roger) has steered the Club through its most successful period in senior football. He made his league debut for Westfield vs Badshot Lea in August 2012, a 2-0 home win in the Combined Counties League Premier Division, and went on to help the Field to 3rd, 4th, 14th, 9th, 2nd and top spot in that league, before being promoted to their highest-ever level in non-league football, Isthmian League South Central Division, finishing 5th (a play-off place) in their first season, 2018-19. In his 8 years as a first-team player, Matt has played over 200 league games, scoring 29 league goals along the way, and has made 60 appearances in Cup competitions.
