Max has played an enormous part in the steady transformation of Westfield FC from a mid-table Combined Counties League side to a club challenging for Step 3 of the non-league pyramid. He first appeared for the Club in September 2013 in a home game against South Park and soon made an impression, scoring 19 goals in 32 games, before moving to Louisburg College in North Carolina to play USA soccer for the Hurricanes. He returned to Woking Park for the 2017-18 season, scoring 53 goals in 45 matches (all competitions), and was tempted by a move to Met Police for season 2018-19, but the Blues were placed into the Southern Premier South division and had to endure long away games to the likes of Tiverton, Dorchester and Weymouth. To his credit, he managed 13 goals in 20 games, but being a local lad was tempted back by Tony Reid in 2019-20. As a popular and well-respected player, Max has played over 150 games for Field, scoring over 130 goals in league and cup.
